Title: Breeding question Post by: ekirkland on May 24, 2012, 09:54:36 am I bread my gyp which is a full plott to my buddies 1/4 bluetick 3/4 plott and all of the came out right accept this little white a Brindle one. Is it normal even no he only has a 1/4 in him one would come out lookin like a bluetick?

The white turns to blue ticking as they mature. Generally, at 2 weeks, my pup's white area is changing to a light blue. At a year old, they almost look black from 40 yards away. If that pup blues up, it would look interesting with the brindle body patches. Keep the pics coming as that pup grows. I'm interested in seeing how it turns out.
