Thats a standard plate custom made by Piggafrigga for Adora my Dogo. She is 26" tall and weighs 85 lbs. 2 and 3 lavers of seat belt sewn over a layer of shade cloth. No leg holes to restrict movement and no way to trap heat. This is the least restrictive and coolist gear I have used. Protection is great where the gear covers the dog. This style gear is best used on dogs that hold pretty clean and have enough leg and length of neck to keep a big boars teeth in front of their shoulder if they get out in front. Doesn't restrict his stride at all like all the other vests I've strapped on him. Haven't got to test it against a boar yet (which I really don't want to either lol) I have a feeling it will be ok. Seems very well made.
