Title: national forestry land
Post by: seokiehogcatcher on May 24, 2012, 11:09:47 pm
Does anyone know if it is legal to catch hogs with dogs on national forestry land?  I have a lot of it around me and I havn't been able to find any regulations on hog hunting.

you would have to look up the law for national forest land in your state. it may have the same regs as texas, which you can hunt them, but it also depends on the regs for that paticular forest land. if it is all around you, then contact the local ranger station or forestry office for that paticular land and ask them. its hard to answer for another state with out knowing the name of the forest land in a specific area or knowing the name of the town you live in to look it up on a map and then finding the forestry info on the national forestry website.
