As I was called an internet hog Hunter I figured as i am hog hunting on the internet I would post today's hunt. Put mator and Cora on the ground they went 900 yards and were off the (http://)unit so drove about 200 toward them and showed bayed me and the kids take are time getting there as these two dogs had him set solid. As we got closer I sent captain and tops to them this was tops first time to go any where other than baying a few cows. We let the dogs work the big barr for awhile  then I slipped around and caught the hog with no dogs latched on him. I roped him from about 5 ft away rowdy went in to catch him as i had him roped but he was a Barr and he could not get a tail cause the hog did not have one. So I had to crawl over the log and help the 12 year old out. No catch dog catch.

I did not take him this morning. Just carried the dogs out to give them a good tuning . We bayed a big barr did not have a catchdog with me. Tristen is 14 she worked the camera rowdy is 12 he helped me get the hog caught and cattle is 6 and trust me he told us how to catch it. ;D

Making sure he was my hog.   ;D I wanted to see if he was a Barr or boar. I started to call the dogs off but the kids wanted to catch him. If it was a boar i was going to change his pride. He will still get bigger we let him go.

Well what web site did you catch him on? Thats a good pig. Them are some fine lookin dogs too. Good to see kids out learnin how to do what we love to do.

Tony the little yeller gyp is out of salt. 3/4 my blood 1/4 yalls. I only had three live out of those pups. Tops and bottom. Are mine crystal has one name flow.

Sounds like them dogs did the job!  Good looking dogs and great looking kiddos, I'm sure they had fun, I can't wait to start taking my kids one day.  Nice pics man!
