We have some ruthless mosquitos here. I spray a couple bottles of Cutter in their kennels and a big area around there. Keeps them at bay for about a week.

Dont know if it will kill them swamp skeeters, but i use the cans of aresol permetherin you can get at tractor supply, then hit the dollar store for the 2 dollar automatic home air freshners and put them up in my dogs pens.  keeps the flies at bay and helps with the skeeters.  id like to get one of them fancy automatic barn sprayers but $ is a little tight theses days.

They were getting bad here before the rain and strong south wind. Now they have stepped it up a notch!!! I use the pymethrin concentrate from the coop. Mix it in the yard sprayer and hit the kennels, dogs, and houses. I can get about 3 days, without a down pour out of it. It has worked very well for me so far.
