Title: Re: dog with pups Post by: halfbreed on July 10, 2012, 11:37:08 am mark i don't know if it would hurt or not . but i would tell him to just get some permethrin 10 % and dip her and just wipe the pups down with a damp rag soaked in the dip . i know it's safe .

Title: Re: dog with pups Post by: magnuml on July 10, 2012, 07:08:16 pm If the dog has the puppies nursing and it is on her nipples they will get it and probly die. had a friend have it happen and lost 7 out of 9 puppies. I would not chance it. JMO.
Title: Re: dog with pups Post by: curdogs3006 on July 10, 2012, 08:11:48 pm I would rather go for a quick bath with a blue dawn detergent, use a rag to get them dry and it is very safe and effective. Have done it lots of times.
