Need to get some pigs in a pen and start training them on them. I would wait on bringing them to the woods until they stopped growing that way you can get them vests that will fit them good. How big of a place do you have to hunt? Have you been feeding hogs there? Just wondering cause I've gone with people that said they had a place to hunt and it was in there back yard and they saw a hog near there 6 months before. I don't mind hunting hogs if there are hogs to be hunted.
Title: Re: looking for new people to hunt with around the southeasttexas area Post by: hogmantx1979 on July 10, 2012, 03:47:56 pm Yeah I am waiting and have a 30lb shoat in pen that I been using but can't get the male pit pup interested in pig yet but female pit pup has her ups and downs with the shot but I got my ybmc pup to turn on goodthe first time she seen the shoat yeah there are hogs there and been baiting up a few places

What year u graduate from Buna? 1990. Sanford is my last name. Moved over to Lake Charles in '92 to go to school, and been over here ever since. We built the vet clinic there in Buna. My family sold it to the Fosters when they moved back to N TX around 94 or so. Had some family friends that lived out in the pocket, Bobby Richardson. Don't know if he still there or not. We lived down the same driveway that Marvin Richardson lived on off 253. We had running horses, and trained at his track. They sold out place to some cop guy from Bmt. A little while after my parents left, he got caught doing all kinds of crazy stuff. Supposedly had a bunch of money and stuff buried around the place. That was probably around the mid 90's.
