This will be my first litter of pups so I ask out of curiosity. I bred her back to her Dad. My friend never seen them "hook up" or even act interested. He didn't even think she was in heat at the time. I wasn't sure myself (real strange heat cycle). If it took we are around week 5 of the pregnancy. I have read a lot about false pregnancy and think this might be the case but I just don't know.

These two are sisters and normally have the exact same build. Do they normally get wider in the rib cage area first?

Excuse the mud all over her she decided to follow a little close to the 4wheeler while I was feeding.

if you really are dead set and determined and you have the spare cash get a ultrasound. you will get your answer. to me she looks bred but could be the angle of the shot

Ultrasound is about 40a bucks

she is on schedule by the looks of her...you will know in another week if she is pregnant or if it is a false pregnancy...between 6 to 8 weeks they swell pretty quick...

Looks bred to me to chad bebe look the same when I bred her bout 7 weeks old she blew up like a balloon

Thanks for the input guys. Not super concerned or should I say concerned enough to go get an ultrasound. She is or she isn't. Curiosity is getting the best of me though.  :-\

Good golly man! I saw the picture before reading and thought what the hell is that spotted dog doin at chads house?

 You can call the vet and ask but someone told me that a pregnancy test from the drugstore would work. The trick would be getting some urine from the dog to do the test.

She looks bred but will look like a watermelon a few weeks lol
