I posted 1 for sale and sold em both to a man and his cousin in louisiana. They went to great home but i sure wish i could have ol snuff back, he was a hunting sumbitch but at the time with a newborn hein born anyday i needed the money more than the dogs. I miss em every hunt. They have a fire that i've never seen in another breed of dog when it came to hunting.
This was pinch (http://img.tapatalk.com/aefd763a-a686-dc06.jpg) And this was my little homie "snuff", they were both awesome little dogs but snuff was my boy, he was deff. Daddy's favorite. Found his 1st 2nd and 3rd hogs for me at 6mths old all in the same night. He was a monster in the woods! this pic was the first of 3 little 40lb runnin pigs he burned down that night. Im gonna try like hell to buy him back soon. Title: Re: Lets see them Jadgs Post by: uglydog on July 25, 2012, 10:47:03 pm REUBEN why would you cross with an airedale?
Title: Re: Lets see them Jadgs Post by: sanman on July 25, 2012, 10:49:15 pm Redtick, the chest and body have 3 layers of kevlar. Cut them out, and put a bunch of stitching in them for a little more stength. The chest, and the rib cage area also have an extra 3 layers of kevlar sewn in. I covered it with nylon fabric. The straps are biothane. Took me a good bit of head scratching to get the design figured out, it was my first one. Not to mention it was like fitting a cat squirrel! Made the collars also. I think they are 12 layers of kevlar, covered in nylon.

I was just wondering if anyone has tried this cross...I used to hunt with airedales back in the 1980's and I felt that the Jagd terrier could help the airedale breed in the hunting department... Hello all! My name is Sid, I've been lurking hear for awhile. Actually Reuben there is a German breed called a Heideterrier. It is a cross of a Jagd and a AD, with some bull and irish terrier thrown in. Hear is a link; http://translate.googleusercontent.com/translate_c?hl=en&prev=/search%3Fq%3Dheideterrier%26hl%3Den%26safe%3Dactive%26biw%3D1280%26bih%3D827%26prmd%3Dimvns&rurl=translate.google.com&sl=de&twu=1&u=http://www.heideterrier.de/index-5.htm&usg=ALkJrhjALmOg5DH0vv4mnpRkNQuW-mC3_w A few years back I contacted a guy in W.V. about a Jagd / AD cross he did for bear hunting. Now he said he had just pretty much gotten out of it but said there was some of his stock still around, but never had any real leads for me to follow-up on. On the flip side I heard from acouple of different sources that when his pups matured he had acouple in on a bear race and by the time he got to the tree the X's had killed his hounds. Take it for what it's worth. I currently have a Jagd x Jrt x Patt that I like real well. Title: Re: Lets see them Jadgs Post by: Muddogkennels on August 10, 2012, 08:31:46 pm Dang.
