Title: Man this Patterdale is a baying FOOL! Post by: MrsLouisianaHogDog on July 30, 2012, 11:28:06 am My husband has a few, and I have a lil male I'm raising up to use for various things, including hogs. The pic below is one of my husband's adult males. He'd never seen a hog until about a month ago. he took right to it. Lil sucker bays pretty tight, and will not catch unless there's another dog catching. When he does catch, he's hanging off the ear like an earring, lol. Lil guy LOVES to bay, it's so fun to watch him work. These Patterdales are somethin else. We have a Jagd we're gonna be picking up soon for a trial, and if he's good, we'll be adding him to the pack. Fun times.

Trying to talk the huband into letting me have him, lol, I like this dog ALOT. Mighty fine looking dog too, big solid boy, this suckers paws are HUGE lol. I want a paternal so bad I can taste it! I want one for a little travel partner (I don't like having the big dogs in the truck) and a lead in cd lol. When the time comes and you're ready to get one off working stock, let me know and I will put you through to a real good guy. His dogs all have great temperments and are all proven working stock :) Yeah they're great for travel buddies! Perfect size....small yet sturdy.... |
