My Pete dog had a yeast infection in his ears that looked similar but without that distinctive odor good advice long eared dogs are more prone to yeast problems than mites . i'd suggest a vinagar and water solution [ duesh ] mixture or over the counter ladie product lol plus the fact your dogs ear will have that fresh summers eve smell to it lol . then in a few days get you some ear mite medicine [ they sell it every where and it is inexpensive ] and treat for mites . i treat regularly for no reason at all .
