It's 70 here right now....supposed to hit 88 today. Which is funny because from the usual high 90's - 100 we have here, that's SUCH a big difference! Title: Re: FINALLY! On Sat I spoke with a Sheriff and he told me that on Friday at the Farm & Ranch Club on Hwy 6 in Houston, it was so hot that they had 6 animals die, including a steer, a cow and a hog. Title: Re: FINALLY! Post by: RL on September 10, 2012, 12:17:09 pm One other contrast occurred to me. On Friday I ran 11 miles. I sweated out 13 lbs, which is 1.6 gallons.
On Sunday, after the front, I ran 9 miles and probably didn't sweat out 2 lbs. This same thing happens to your dogs. BTW, both runs started at 5am, so it wasn't like they were in the middle of the day. This cool front has been wonderful. Enjoy yourself hunting in it. |
