Title: is this a good idea Post by: hooey86 on September 11, 2012, 08:04:32 pm I have a 2 yr old pit that me and my gf started on hogs. Well she has only caught one and that was just to see what she would do. Would it be a good idea to get a finished catch dog to help finish her or would it be better to take her with other dogs . Any suggestions will be helpful.

Most won't agree but "It's a way, not the way!" Go catch some hogs and don't worry about opinions or labels Title: Re: is this a good idea Post by: TChunter on September 11, 2012, 08:26:20 pm I've started quite a few bulldogs just taking em to the woods without ever seeing a hog or me seeing em catch. I usually turn a solid catch dog loose and send the new one right behind it. Most of the time they catch with the other one.
