Post by: charles on September 27, 2012, 06:24:56 pm yep, its the truth. if you lock your bags up with a non tsa lock, they wont load the bags or cut the lock and search it anyways and steal what they want, but yet you put a tsa lock on it, the open it and steal from you. no matter how you try to keep your belongings safe, there is always a way for the thieves to steal from you.

Not true. If you check a gun it must be unloaded and only you have the key or combo. They can'y open it legally and stealing a gun from an airport would be worse than drugs.Title: Re: Where are we safe? Post by: charles on September 30, 2012, 01:18:16 pm the only reason they wont open the gun locker is bc the weapon was inspected at time of check in. how may times do they do a 100% baggage check at the the ck in desk? the airlines or HLS claim its for security, but its actualy profiling. even though i have an american white name, my bags still got searched bc i was coming from the middle east on a civilian int flt. everything thing that i mailed hm tht had a zip-tie or tsa lock, was opened, searched through and allowed to pass. even though they x-ray the stuff, if there is something in the bag that the bag cker wants, it will get pushed off to the side for an inspection for suspicous reasons, and thats all they have to say, "it was opened due to a suspicious looking object" and then ooops, you item in question must have been left out and was throwed away after shift. i had a bag opened when coming from korea and had a tube of shoe-goo and the cap miraculously got unscrewed and the tube completely squeezed all over my pt gear and other military uniforms. i filed a claim and they said, sorry but there is nothing we will do bc it was a random bag search. i called my gaining unit and talked to the supply sgt and explained what happened and got an affidavit from tsa saying they wouldnt replace the items and i got a complete reissue, but it shouldnt have come to that. them tsa and airline jackwaggons are a bunch of thieves. same with the military postal service. i had several $1000s in tools stolen.

Post by: lettmroll on September 30, 2012, 06:45:31 pm I work overseas so I fly every 28 days. Well I have one bag I check and one Carrie on I been that same bad on with me for 3 years then the other day the lady says you have to check that bad and I told here I never have before plus I have my computer and phones and iPod in it . There rules or if you tell then your computer is in it they can't make you check it. Well for some reason I did it anyway and when I got to Kuwait guess what no computer no phone or iPod. So I file a claim and they tell me I have to fly to Doha to their main office. Well I figured it would be cheaper and a lot less head to just go but all new.

I wanna make sure i dont fly with them. By letting them get away with stealing your stuff n not atleast contacting the main office or making sure you get a connecting lay over flt to doha and filing a complaint, it will just continue to happen, even to those who can not afford to just buy a new com, phone n do forth. Title: Re: Where are we safe? Post by: Hog Dog Mike on September 30, 2012, 08:09:26 pm I hate to fly because of the TSA. In fact I started driving to South Dakota for my annual phesant trip instead of flying.
One time they broke one of my shotguns (in a plastic case) half in two and would not fix it. Had to send it back to Remiongton and it cost me 156.00 to repair. So I go and buy a pelican gun case which are high dollar but you can put a gun in one and throw it off the roof and the gun will be OK. TSA could not tear this case up so they lose BOTH of my combination locks that were 42.00 each. They did not pay for them either. AND you cannot ship a gun that is not cased and locked. Post by: Munoz on September 30, 2012, 09:33:18 pm My dad gets stopped and questioned every time he flys because there is a man on the FBI's most wanted list with the same first and last name (middle name is different). It wouldn't be so bad if they confirmed he isn't the same guy and let him go but they take him and interrogate him every time and always misses his flight.

Post by: charles on October 01, 2012, 01:48:24 pm If he is slways missing his flt, then why not show up a hr or so earlier before the required 1-2hrs prior to departure, so they can illegaly interigate him to find out they r the dumb 1s before letting him board.
Title: Re: Where are we safe? Post by: Munoz on October 01, 2012, 02:03:33 pm I'm not sure what time he arrives for his flights but my dad is not a person that is ever late to anything if he is supposed to be there 1-2 hrs. Early for the flight he will be early for that as well.
