Paul I wish we all had GPS, but those are handheld radio's..But I did buy a compass, so that when I get lost I know which direction I'm facing ;D thats a bad feeling when you can't find your way out. I've been in that boat several times. I have been looking at those GPS with dog tracking...They look pretty darn cool, you can not only tell where the dog is but where he's been.

That was a fun hunt.  Next time, I'm bringing my own four wheeler so I don't have to ride "Rock Hudson" behind Lance.

Paul, the dogs did well for the circumstances.  It was hot, VERY dry, and windy.  They ran another hog a long way but got beat.  We were so dadgum tired by the time we got there, that I was more than a little ticked to not have a pig to look at.  Oh well.  We'll get em next time.

Corry, welcome to the ETHD board.

We're gonna do that again, Lance.  Next time, you gotta bring your guitar.  We'll sit out on the front porch & pick, sing & drink until the wee hours.

I can't believe we only managed one measly hog.  I was a little disappointed, I know there's many many more hogs out there.  That place is no joke, it's covered up with hogs.  We saw a crapload of hogs on the way home, all dead on the side of the road.  Anyway... it worked out alright, we just gotta figure the place out a bit better for hunting with dogs.  I shot 6 out there with a rifle in one evening hunt once, so I know we can wipe 'em out with dogs.

We'll get em next time.  BTW WELCOME TO THE ETHD BOARDS!!!!!!
