Title: Relisting GSP for trade Post by: slckhunter1978 on October 14, 2012, 01:19:58 pm Same dog as listed in previous post gsp male 3 y.o. still just a started dog willing to trade for a patterdale or maybe a jag if not too far. want a young started dog. No trash - the gsp hunts his tail off like a birddog but i haven't witnessed him finding his own hog since the training pen. Where i hunt mostly hogs are few and far between. He will go to the bay if he is in hearing range which most of the time he is not. He goes out far and wide. Believe he is a gonna b dog but can't promise anything. Ive been told it takes most of these birddogs around 5 years to slow down a bit and catch on i really don't know this is the only one ive ever had. He bays tight and is pretty gritty will catch what he can but is pretty smart about it. Will possibly trade for a good curr help dog(one that will stay on a running hog) if i can't find what im looking for. I just don't have the patience to wait on this gsp.
