Title: My new dog kennels Post by: hoghunter71409 on October 22, 2012, 07:25:47 pm I've been reading about some dog kennels here and there; I am just about finished with mine. I have 8 kennels that are 4' x 8'. I am going to build one more 8' x 10' for a puppy kennel. I am also going to add a couple of solar lights and call it done. Here are a couple of pics.

Yes the concrete is slopped. If I remember correctly it had a 1 on 12 slope. I Have a two foot apron all the way around with a steeper slope for run-off.

The last set of kennels I had were constructed in a similar fashion and they held up very well. I built them 6 years ago and they still look the same as they did when I built them.
