Yes, I got a crummy scale from TSC a while back that only goes to 200 pounds, so I started asking around and got a friend who works in maintenance at a plant and he's got me one ordered from granger I believe. Title: Re: Proof Post by: dan on November 04, 2012, 04:18:53 pm Yes, I have scales.
I dare say more than half of all hog weights listed on the internet are not weighed on scales. I have seen many many pictures on this site that are heavy by more than 80lbs. In fact hog weights is one of the things that makes me laugh out loud while reading posts. I grew up around hogs and have caught more than I can remember, but scales made me realize most people estimate hog weights too high. Get a set of quality scales and you will be shocked. |
