Hey I'm from mims in Florida and looking for some places and people to hunt with I have younger dogs they do pretty good they don't trash and theyre silent I have one that yips a lil on a hot trail I just don't have any place to hunt anymore just looking for some places to hunt any help will be greatly appreciated thank you in advance happy hunting and hope to hear from y'all

Do you by any chance happen to be a property owner at river ranch? I'll be out there Thanksgiving weekend.

No I'm not I would like to be its seems like a fun place I have heard storeys about it are you a owner

Yeah. It's a fun place but there are so many people some weekends who have 10-15 head of hounds and really ruin your hunt. I am rushing to the bay and can hear them coming and good luck fighting them off your caught hog.

Yea that would be a pain I would not be real happy having to fight off a pack of hounds to get to my hog

Well that's one guaranteed spot for you that's a few hours from Mims but you can camp the weekend there. You can truck hunt, or atv/utv hunt. Dogs are allowed during general gun season. Just nab yourself some property and become a member.

Pasco County has a TON of hogs....not sure as far as specific properties go though.

I may have to look into that the next couple years I'm currently goin in the military ill probly be in basic mid2013 but it would be a good investment and for pasco county I'm not fimiliar with that area at all wish I was tho

Pasco country is a hard place to find any where to hunt they scared your dogs going to catch cows, run deer. Farther south is the place they still country people down there. just alittle door knocking and you can get some property to hunt, I live in pasco and drive 1.5hr south to hunt!

That's kinda how it is up here I'd like to do some hoggin down south sometime I'll have to make a trip and see if I cant do a little door knocking and see if I can't find a spot

hell do like half the kids do round here and fence jump! That's the dang reason there's hardley anywhere to hunt anymore !! Burns me up

Dog days is coming up fast get them pups on some mock hunts cuz there's some big boys out there on st johns , and if we can get a boat kissimi chain lakes open year rd to dogs at night 

It kills me too bud and I about got the ol fan boat back in commission little more tweaking and fiddling around and she will be river bound how far is to that chain of lakes might have to do some trailer work if it's a long haul and it should be ready for dog days on the st johns

Chin lakes bout hour or so have to look into some boat drop points and scout during day one weekend , as for dog days I got 3 good walk in spots or we can drop boat just about anywhere on st johns and ride till we find dry ground for runnin

let's get on it I'm ready to get on some of them nasty river hogs

I forgot to add there's the Tosohatchee hunt you have to apply for. I am going both Months this upcoming dog hunts.

I have the first toso hog dog hunt we did decent out there that first weekend

This is at my property and I still haven't taken my dogs out there. Keeping it quiet for the deer. Probably try after the deer season.

Yes you are man I'm working on a 200 acre tract right now and I'll bring you out there if I can make it happen but that boat hog would look a lot better with some dogs hanging off his ears lol
