Title: cut-collars Post by: old cowboy on December 06, 2012, 02:58:58 pm Hey
Has antbody got their cut-collars that Tori told us we would get in Nov. for being in the Top TEn for CHDA? Title: Re: cut-collars Post by: jcrosscatahoulas on December 06, 2012, 04:43:33 pm No Lew, no one has gotten anything from the CHDA. As I told you in an email earlier, there were no funds to buy ANY awards with, as I had to constantly contribute my personal funds to give away awards at each trial, not to mention 3 belt buckles each year, 10 custom cut vests and 10 custom cut collars, I can't afford to continue doing so. Once again, you're more than welcomed to donate to the CHDA trophy fund, which was always separate from the entry fees as those funds were used to cover the cost of arena rental and hog rental for the trials, along with additional funds that I personally contributed, and I will be happy to order a collar for you.

Lew Jones: If you look back on your messages you said that ,you were dropping CHDA and the people in the top ten would get cut-collars,I ask once before when and you said awards where given out in Nov. and if i wanted one sooner I could donate and get one --I replyed that I had donated enough --as for the cut vest and collars that you gave out in 2011--you said that that they where donated-so it looks as if this is another Tori deal-just wanted to see if you are as good as your word! about an hour ago · Like Tori Smith Earls: Funny thing, entry fees and donations are 2 totally different things, as said then and again, if I could pay for them, I would. Any organization that can't support itself usually folds. The collars and vests WERE partially donated, I saw no reason to cite myself, as anyone that has produced events knows things aren't free, and the producer usually has a vested interest, the fact that I can no longer afford to drop 4-5000 a year in the pot is unfortunate, but necessary. I'm sorry you don't understand the economical impacts donations make and the difference in entry fee and donation. At any rate, feel free to post your missive where ever you'd like, the answer is still the same. Have a good one, Lew, good luck in your travels. about an hour ago · Like · 1 Lew Jones: Believe I donated twice, along with lots of other people--this is just the same old B.S. I'd rather not have a public free for all and will not comment further. You are most welcomed to trash, bash and talk junk where ever you see fit. I'm very sorry you're offended, but I financially cannot donate more to the CHDA funds than I already have over the course of the last three years. |
