With a Leaupold 3X9 VariX II scope. I bought the rifle becuase it was a .264 and hard to find. I wanted to work up some loads and play with it. I have not had time and it is only collecting dust in the safe. I need to free up some cash so I can buy other toys! I am near Kerrville Texas. Asking $575 cash (http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y202/longshotjames/guns/JackCrevelle031.jpg) (http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y202/longshotjames/guns/JackCrevelle035.jpg) Rifle appears to be in good condition other than worn bluing on the barrel: (http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y202/longshotjames/guns/JackCrevelle033.jpg) also comes with box of ammo pictured email here if interested: longshotjames@yahoo.com Also comes with RCBS FL sizing, shell holder and seating dies Longshot Title: Re: Mark X .264 Win w\ Leaupold scope Post by: Bryant on June 10, 2009, 04:36:56 pm My favorite rifle in my collection is a Sako Finnbear .264 Winchester Mag. Dad bought it back in the 60's when a local Gibson's Sporting Goods was going out of business. Pristine condition and a SWEET round.
You don't see many of the .264's. Title: Re: Mark X .264 Win w\ Leaupold scope Post by: Eric on June 10, 2009, 05:36:24 pm I grew up hunting with my dads Winchester .264 MAG. Nice gun.

One of the first rifles I ever bought was an interarms Mark X in .223, and it was a shootin' sonoheterosexually challengedun. In my youthful ignorance I sold it to somebody who offered me a fuzz too much. This .264 is nearly too much temptation to handle. I've held 3 interarms Mark X rifles in my hands, and all of them were really good shooters. I would imagine this gun would make someone a deer killing machine. |
