Title: Mark X .264 Win w\ Leaupold scope
Post by: longshot on June 10, 2009, 12:03:47 pm
.264 Winchester magnum made by Interarms model Mark X
With a Leaupold 3X9 VariX II scope.

I bought the rifle becuase it was a .264 and hard to find.  I wanted to work up some loads and play with it.   I have not had time and it is only collecting dust in the safe.    I need to free up some cash so I can buy other toys!

I am near Kerrville Texas.  Asking $575 cash

My favorite rifle in my collection is a Sako Finnbear .264 Winchester Mag.  Dad bought it back in the 60's when a local Gibson's Sporting Goods was going out of business.  Pristine condition and a SWEET round.

You don't see many of the .264's.

I wish somebody would buy this gun.  It's killing me.  rolleyes

One of the first rifles I ever bought was an interarms Mark X in .223, and it was a shootin' sonoheterosexually challengedun.  In my youthful ignorance I sold it to somebody who offered me a fuzz too much.  This .264 is nearly too much temptation to handle.  I've held 3 interarms Mark X rifles in my hands, and all of them were really good shooters.  I would imagine this gun would make someone a deer killing machine.
