Medical research or lack of it has been one of my favorite subjects to read about and at some point I have made the conclusion that they do not want a cure for anything...just treatments...

when I went thru cancer treatment I realized real quick that all these break throughs were all a smoke screen when it came to radiation treatments...it is still the same as way back...the only difference is that they use computers now...in other words just one big smoke screen to make it look like they are making progress by leaps and bounds which is a bunch of crap...one thing for sure...if you have good insurance they will put you through all the treatments...they do make some progress but it is just to fool the public....teasing us... kind of like teasing a pup with a piece of bacon dangling in front of them... but just out of reach...the improvements are just enough to keep people donating to research...  :o

I will never donate one penny to medical research because it is not legitimate...

I feel bout the same, there are no "break throughs" just a trickle down of minute improvement on techniques and procedures.

these doctors learn all they know from a book . the book is written by the pharmeceutical companies .

some good reading for everybody would be natural cures they don't want you to know about by kevin trudeau

  lol don't get me started on insurance  . i tell everybody that when they are sick and go to the doctor to not tell them they have insurance till after the doctor is through with you . they will have you fixed up and out of there in no time . but if the doctors are working off an insurance policy they never will cure you  lol . and this the one main reason insurance cost are so high , due to too many and unneccesary [ TEST ] the doctors want to put you through  .

Sure.  While natural cures may be a valid option  ...  why would you ever rely on advice from a scam artist and convicted felon?

  yeah lot of that goes on in holistic medicin . back when all we had was herbs and home remedys the life span of a white male in america was about 35 years  . penecillin alone brought it up to around 47  .

i don't agree with everything he said but alot of it makes sence .

some of them holistic people are nothing more than snake oil salesmen .

back when people lived on homegrown food and herbs and homemade remedies they were healthier and happier .

alot of them were active until their death in their 80' s 90's and 100's

their diet cosisted of vegetables cooked with lard , bacon , ham , sausage , eggs and allkinds of stuff that will kill you if you eat it . ( according to doctors )  ;D ;D

Couple of years back 2 researchers found the cure for heartburn and they won a nobel prize for there discovery...but somehow it was swept under the rug because the purple pill is making a huge profit...with the purple pill you take one a day or every time you get indigestion....but for the rest of your life...I cured myself of it but it sure wasn't the purple pill...

Charles/Jdt...I needed about 5 years to retire and my liver enzymes reached a high level....the company I worked for checked us once a year because the chemicals we made would destroy the liver over a period of time if we worked in it too long or over exposed ourselves to it...I didn't want to start over in another department so I started doing some research...checked out a few stores and it just so happened a mom and pop health food store that also specialized in herbs and vitamins knew a lot about treatments with herbs and whatnot...long story short they hooked me up with a quart bottle of aloe vera detoxifying formula...it is aloe with about 5 or 6 other herbs that together they clean your liver of toxins...which the liver is the filter for our blood...anyway, I followed directions and drank one oz in the morning and one in the evening...I had to chase it down with some water or something because it tasted bad but the heartburn was the killer... ;D went to the doctor and he said...don't know what your doing but keep doing it...a total of 4 quarts and I was back in the saddle...I was good by time I finished my second bottle but I wanted to be sure...

I used to keep rolaids in the medicine cabinet in each bathroom and in the kitchen and sometimes when I had a few cold ones heartburn could get bad... but 3 months with aloe will cure heartburn..but I would use the detox formula...google "lilly of the desert"...

Several months went by after my liver treatment...and then I realized I hadn't taken any rolaids...now...I might take 2 or 3 rolaid tablets a year...since...I have learned that aloe

If they found a cure for all the disease and cancer it would most likely kill us all. The world can't sustain the population we have now and if everybody lived to be 80 or 90 years old all of is would starve to death. Life and death is what keeps the world going.

 well im sure there are pleanty of politicians and obama buck recipients that could be culled in just this country and if it happened world wide, then the cures for the so called cancers could be treated and cured

Sounds like you support "death panels".

I see it from another angle...cure disease and educate the people into having less children so we can lower the population in that manner...and keep improving the standard and quality of living for all...

If you reformed the legal system, you would see the number of diagnostic tests cut in half. Diagnostic tests are law suit avoidance driven.

I second Kevin Trudeau my wife is a herbalist and we don't take chemical medication only natural remedies , They work for dogs aswell .
