Title: JAPANESE MINI TRUCKS
Post by: ED BARNES on January 09, 2013, 03:34:01 pm
ANYBODY HAVE ONE? IM THINKING OF GETTING ONE BUT WOULD LIKE TO HEAR FROM FOLKS THAT HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH THEM. IS GETTING PARTS A PROBLEM? DO THEY REALLY GET 50MPG? AND THEY LOOK LIKE THEY WOULD BE EASY TO STICK?

I have a friend that hunts out of 2 of them. They do get good gas milage. Parts can be found online and I have only seen one stuck in 2 years. I would own one

A little bigger than a side x side but deff won't follow one in the woods!  Depending on your area and situation on hunting would depend on if i would spend the money for one!  My east texas bottoms and nasty wet weather i will stick with my rhino!  ;)  If i hunted south or west i would love to have one!  The one ive been around was an awesome machine as well as the bennifit of 12" wheels so you can buy any fourwheeler tire mount and play.

Iv used them in korea and afghanistan n they will go a wk n half before on a tank, has good power and again, 4 wheeler tires can be used all season long, but it didnt do good for back trails when it was talcm powder mud. I would venture to say yes, get 1 if the price rite n it has a heater as where a side by side or atv dont n the pax can stay dry

Buddy of mines dad has one on there property in rusk cool little truck hard to get used to shiftin with your left hand haha but its like with any other vehicle look at the terrain your huntin. if you have property that has a lot of good road access or mostly open id say go for it but if your huntin where its any kinda thick or no good road access I wouldn't cause the turnin radius is pretty chitty.
o also the tires rollin over gravel is almost louder than the actual truck

Depending on the model and the terrain you hunt... Consider relocating the intake a little higher ;)
