Title: Re: 10 pt. killed in Cooke County (November '07) Post by: GitDatHawg on February 14, 2008, 03:02:49 pm Was that a low or high fence deer? Do yall plant food plots, etc.?
Title: Re: 10 pt. killed in Cooke County (November '07) Post by: TXbud on February 15, 2008, 08:40:27 am No high fences. This was a low fence place. We do have a food plot, but not around where I shot this one. I found a rub line and set up a ladder stand.

I love doin that. That makes the hunt so much better when you get him. Congratulations!! I would definetly put that one on the wall.

Title: Re: 10 pt. killed in Cooke County (November '07) Post by: TXbud on September 15, 2008, 04:20:56 pm I was using my brother-in-laws bow. It is a Hoyt compound. I believe it was set at 60 lbs. My bow was having some work done on it at the time. I usually shoot a Mathews Drenalin set at 63 lbs. I have been hunting deer for about 7 years and this was my first buck (besides a couple of button bucks :))
