Title: 340# Big Boy Post by: CHRIS L on June 21, 2009, 06:35:51 pm Rocking roo came down friday to stay for the weekend, went out friday night and had a group of 25 or so bayed up, were standing about 15 yards from the bay it was awsome watching the dogs work. dogs finaly got one singled out and sent the cd after it. rested up and went out on saturday night to one of our spots and had no luck then headed to our honey hole and got this mean boy. his cutters were broken off but were wide. dogs had him bayed i this one thicket that always gives us BIG boys. sent cd in and the fight was one. he pushed out but didnt get far before the dogs had him caught in the creek. his hide was so thick had hell trying to get my knife in. he cut one of roos dogs throat but missed his wind pipe (and the pup was still hooking in to him), threw my pup around like a rag doll and messed his jaw up a bit, was a couple of other nicks and pokes but all came out safe. put him over the scales when we got back and weighed 340#
sorry no pics with dogs it was about 2 am when we got back. roo and i will post some pics of the team.
