Title: Another Family Addicted!!!! Post by: setxhogdogs on February 09, 2013, 04:35:52 pm Went out this morning with a family that I introduced to hog doggin' a few months back!! My buddy and his 4 boys have been dying to catch a hog!! I helped them find a few dogs and they are also raising pups out of my strike dog! We dropped the dogs at daylight and started hunting! Struck a hog near the river and had a race going and the hog swam the river! Finally caught up the dogs and moved to a different spot...found some fresh tracks and rooting! Roaded the dogs down a trail to an old feeder and it opened up into a grassy clearing! My dogs Hank and Hoss left the edge of the clearing with their heads up winding! I told my wife and buddy ....GET READY! 30 seconds later they are bayed about 150 yards in a thicket! They bay about 30 seconds and the hog breaks...RIGHT BY US!! We turned out two catchdogs and they joined the short chase to an old blowdown log! CAUGHT HOG!! I let my rookie bud leg the hog and we flip him and handcuff him and ill be if it ain't a big Barr hog!! We took some pics with the boys and then stuck him!! Needless to say my buddy and his boys are now hooked for life!! They were ecstatic and soooo happy to finally catch a good one!!
