Title: made a run in crafton tx stephen g wam bam double header 2-11-13 Post by: M Bennet on February 11, 2013, 03:14:21 pm we pull in to a new ranch and drop the dogs. they roll out to 390 an came back. we put them on the hood an ease down a brush pocket . dogs came off and went 90 yrds , we eased in an looked at the hog an sent spanky an max. bingo done dill pearl rolled out but couldnt find another one. so we loaded up and went east of bridgeport on the big sandy . as we are driving on the ranch we notice some fresh hog trax. so we drop cain& pearl didnt take but a min. we see the sow coming through the brush headed across the wheatfield. so i had the old dakota running fast i was going to run her over but fence stopped me. stephen was watching the dogs work her over as i was driving. i came up on the river across we go. when i poped up on the other side they had her bayed on the fence it was sweet. sent max and as he was almost there se broke and went 20 yrds and it was over. wildman ran in and legged the hog & tied it. its been a good day of hunting .
