Anybody ever had any out of him? I had a male that was out of his and i loved that dog! He was short to medium range, gritty but smart about it. I went out to his kennel one morning and he wasnt himself so i took him to vet and he passed away. Vet said he was poisened but anway have any one yall had luck with this line?

I have gyp out of his line..she's good dog not a lot of grit but will run all day and right out on hogs after catch.

Yea the male i had would run all day long but as soon has u told him to come he would no matter if he was  in middle of chasing a hog. Very well manered. And pertty too!

There is a 19 month old female for sale in the dog trader right now. Looks great and if I had the money she wood be in my yard jus from hearing the good things I've heard about kds dogs. Jus wanted to give u a heads up. Hope u find another dog just as good as the one you lost. Lord knows I miss my old gyp I had!

I checked them out years ago.....maybe early 2000's....just research wise I mean...never owned one. Talked to the guy and he said they were real rough. Don't know if he's bred some of that out now or if its just this particular gyp that's loose. I like their build...for sure.

I picked up two gyps for free ( came from his son) anyways will see how they do my buddies gotem at his house ill b gettin mine this weekend

I had a male n fm outa that line that i got from his uncle or cousin in MO (donald brekenridge) n both them dogs were supper rough, almost to the suisidal point. With 3-4 of them, there was no need for a catch dog. The dogs r good, but the breeder is less disirable.

KD lives here in rains county. I'm not to sure how you got dogs for free from his son? Charles, donald is his cousin. Donald is running spring valley curs in MO. GIVE me a holler and ill pass your number on to him or see if its ok to pass his number on to y'all.

I thhink pups WAS orignally stevens then "stuff" happened went to someone then me. This isn't the first time stevens dad gave him curs last time he gave him two males.  Steven surrendered them to perry pound my buddy got them n they went straight to work on used on cows other on pigs.  But I just heard about them never hunted behind em

Donald has spring valley bmc, he is not really a branch of it, just as david thoms n 4ds aint a branch of randy wright, just independent breeders, linked together by their dogs

KD's last I heard was out of Far East Texas.

I talked to KD last had a good talk about dogs..

Iv known donald for nearly 5yrs n done business with him several times. I wish petrol wasnt so expencive so i could drive up there n hunt n talk with him more. Donald n his family are good people, need more folks like him

Okboarhunter, i may be wrong, but from what iv seen on both korys n donalds yards n the litters from them, i dont think the dog standing up at the kennel gate came from korys stock. Again i may be wrong n if so, i'll stand here n get corrected but the build n confirmation dont look like anything from his yard unless he has thrown some outcross in.

If anyone got a pot licker from my yard bring it back! I'll kill it for you and get you another dog.  Dont know what else a fella could do to make a bad situation wrong.  Not that there has been any wrong doing.

I stand with Kory,are KD like he's known but dammit quit butherin my name I'm by the way Mark Fontenot known on here as Mark . Our dogs are basically all line bred from a lot of old stuff with a little new mixed in to suit whoever is feeding them .We breed for nose mouth and hunt in general but i take pride in good working dogs regardless wether it be hogs are cattle . anyone needing to know more contact me on here are through the site i believe there's a phone #

one more thing, kds dogs are his , donalds dogs are also his , Bobs dogs are his and mine are mine , we breed our dogs together because the dogs in our network work for what we want and when a outcross occurs it is only to improve what we have . When i say and outcross i don't mean different blood these dogs are atleast mine are just refined ben dogs i think Donald and Bob would agree the fact that working goes to working for several generations just makes our dogs produce a more consistent litter with less culls but folks there are culls in every litter anyone who says differant is not only a fool but also a liar . Dogs from different yards work different , i breed for working dogs with plenty of hunt but smarts aswell , as does Bob, Donald has the rough stock , plenty of bottom and more grit than is safe . We cross back and forth to keep the balance in check ,that is all we do , but understand the dogs belong to the owner and i for one don't own a line , fella before me took time and culled hard ,i'm only preserving that . I breed one litter a yr , and have no issues selling pups , but i'm just trying to pay for the feed and maybe a hunting trip are two so please guys don't dive into this and make it bigger than it needs be .Thanks

I just bought a female pup out of Shorty & Molean from Donald B. talked to KD on Facebook a few times. Dogs should be catchy and have a lot of hunt, I don't see much difference in KD's dogs and donalds other than location.

Your a lucky man Waylon!! I seen a few of the pups out of that litter and they look awesome!! I've been talking to Donald about some future litters because I would love to get a male from his yard like the one I seen on his fb page the other day. Might be a few months mabe even six minths but I will have me one if the good lord is willing:)

Heres a pup out of shortyxrudy, I got from donald. he is getting my attention in the woods. I expect good things out of him.I've hunted with donald several times and his dogs are above average in my opinion.I love them! yes he did mention that they are very gritty. I plan on getting mine used to a cut collar and a cut vest as soon as I start training it ( that is when I get one of course).
