Title: Yard dog's boar Post by: Peachcreek on February 17, 2013, 12:18:57 am Made a long hunt this weekend with mike, jesse paul and bobby, we had a few LONG hard races that didnt end well. Tonight mike and i were were unhooking the camper trailer finishing up our weekend hunt when we heard my hooley and bird dog baying down by peachcreek... I said you wanna go tie that hog them yard dogs got bayed? ( i thought yeah right) but it sounded real so i grabbed some rope. We get down there and sure enough boo and bella had this pretty lil boar bayed up in a wood pile. The funny thing was i had just let my cd peewee out of the trailer and he was at the bay all up inside the woodpile but had not bit the hog at all, the only thing he could see was the hogs butt...i guess ole peewee only likes ears! It took some effort getting the sucker out of there but we got him tied and brought in for the raffle at the splendora tournament. .the hog was 99 lbs on their scales lol. Three weekends of hunting, and two weekends we hunting day and night with almost no sleep. One spotted Barr hog to show for it >:(
