They are a really rough type cur and catch what they can handle. I like them with a little leg under them but still stout through body and head.(http://i1341.photobucket.com/albums/o760/47royboy/2E9F7F89-0945-4EA3-B122-D7286B0EC2D9-5356-00000E454C002675_zps81de7828.jpg)(http://i1341.photobucket.com/albums/o760/47royboy/F0AC2EAF-BCB8-4333-BE28-B4D2C9CBB036-5356-00000E449C409EC5_zpsb0901a2b.jpg)
Title: Re: bmc lines Post by: KevinN on February 22, 2013, 03:48:24 pm I have always preferred stockier dogs....like MOST Catahoula's are built. Never owned a yella till this passed year and my luck...he's leggy and lanky. He's a keeper though. Comes from mostly cattle stock. I THINK alot of the cattle dogs are built this way...but I ain't no expert.

I love the ones built like a bull dog!(http://img.tapatalk.com/d/13/02/23/uva4yny2.jpg) he's not nearly as short as a game bred but he's about 8" shorter then my other male and my brothers male.

Thick, stocky, with big chuckle bulldog heads. Medium range, with lots of grit. We run them mostly off of the hood and are trying to keep the line alive. They wont suit everyone, but they sure suit a lot of us whom hunt them. Will try to get some pics when I get home monday.
