Title: 450 Pound Barr Post by: ROCKIN ROO HOG DOGS on February 24, 2013, 10:03:57 am Posting for my old hunting partner Shawn Bolton,hes not computer savvy....Story goes something like this. A man that has neighbouring property to shawns hunting spots had just bought his 14 year old son some hog dogs and asked shawn to bring some of his good dogs and show the boys the ropes,he said it wasnt 5 mins out of the box and the dogs were hammering down and when he cut his catchdog loose he heard him hit but no squeal,no grunt,nothing! Got to the action and this monster was just sitting down wearing the bulldog like an earing. Shawn said when he stepped closer the hog stoopd up and spun to him swinging the bulldog to the outside so he shot him in the ear with his 38 and dropped him right there. Took him to a processing plant last night after the hunt and went 450 on the scaels,he guessed him at around 400 earlier. Very nice barr and im sure the young fellas are addicted now!!!! This hunt scored him another 6500 acres to hunt along with the 13000 acres beside it,lucky fella!!!

He said none of them would come close to the bay with him haha,they better get over that!! I believe this one was caught around the bluffdale area? thats were most of his honey holes are.
