Title: Dog Killing Boar Hog!! Post by: setxhogdogs on February 27, 2013, 10:45:45 am Dropped out the dogs last night in the river bottom and within 30 minutes they struck this boar hog. I honestly think he was walking down the middle of the road when they got to him! We saw him cross the road with the dogs hot on his heels. They stopped him about 100 yrds from the road and he was bayed solid. I heard a dog yelp and we turned out old Country my catch dog! He got there and the fight was on! Keith and Aaron legged the hog and we tied him! My catch dog was cut to ribbons and also Aarons dog Ace was cut down too! Both dogs died shortly thereafter! Hank throat was cut but not too serious and Hoss had a few minor wounds!! This boar must weigh 300 or more!! Good hunt but a bad ending!! RIP COUNTRY AND ACE! WE WILL NEVER FORGET THAT U GAVE IT ALL!!!
