Felines do however have their own strain of a nasty virus called Panleukopenia which yields similar symptoms to that of Parvo in canines, but it is NOT zoonotic/transmittable to another species.
Whatever vet said that felines can carry the canine Parvovirus should be fired, lol. My credentials: Certified Veterinary Technician of 15 years. And as we all know, dogs always seem to be attracted to cat stool like it's candy, lol.
