Is no previously caught hogs mean no barrs?

I'm sorry that was my fault that it got left off the flyer. We are allowing 1 Barr hog to be entered with your string of 10 but we will deduct 10 percent of the weight of the Barr hog. A 300 lb. Barr hog will be considered a 270 lb hog scorable weight. Barr hogs will not count in the biggest boar side pot.

Is this a state wide hunt or just around that Area?

Yes it's state wide as long as pigs are not caught inside a high fence

Payout will depend on the number of teams entered.

I just got off the phone with a man who is willing to come to the weigh in Sunday and freeze brand dogs if I can get enough people. He said $15 per dog. He has most the irons you can think of but said if you have a black iron of your own that it will work also. Is anyone interested? He can also do horses.

Yes I know for sure I would and the other members our team which would prob be about 15 dogs

Just post the buckles when you can we don't care about the pot sounds like this hunt is for a good cause so I don't know why people are so worried about the pot

Tres Rios said the buckles are scheduled to be at our house on the 19th which is tmw. I'll post a pic as soon I open the box. Yes it is for a good cause. The money raised is going to a scholarship fund in Chris' name. As soon as we know the number of teams entered we will post the payout amounts for each place paid

Y'all can go to and join Central Texas Boar Hunters on Facebook and view pictures of hogs being weighed in Sunday. Y'all are more than welcome to show off your daily catch, dogs you hunt with and team pictures. You can also buy, sell or trade anything hog hunting related you want.

I just got off the phone with the man from Ugly Dog Ranch. They will be at the weigh in Sunday and set a booth up selling all their hunting gear.

How many teams signed up so far?

Won't know exactly how many till Friday evening after sign up. Just from people calling and saying they have a team we are expecting around 25 teams

Sounds good I will have a team there don't know how good it will go we blew all of our spots up for the bumpers tournament but we're going to give it hell

The guy doing the freeze brands still coming up there?

Yes he is coming. Talked to him yesterday.
