EAST TEXAS HOG DOGGERS FORUM

We got to the ranch and had no sign so we though the dogs down to let them exercise they acted like they could smell a hog but it was cold so we pulled up under a shade tree and waited it was around 10 o'clock and getting hot   and the  to older dogs being gone for about an hour we tracked and they were bayed we pulled around and caught this young boer.     The dogs rolled out and went and bayed on the edge of the trinty river the hog broke went up the bank and did a small circle and hit the river and I have a black gyp  that can sure swim she was the last to hit the water and beat everyone across bayed the hog right on the bank she really put the heat on him......She also swam 2 foot form a pretty big gator about 9 footer but he went under. I know the guy across the river and he heard the dogs baying so he came this guy is a # 7 header so he can sure rope he brought a rope and roped the hog then hollard at me to see if he could have it and I said he's on your property I guess so......I called all the dogs back and we called it a day got 2 hogs but only got pictures of one.

Good hunt buddy! I bet you will see that boar again one day!  ;) Id like to have seen the lil black gyp gettin it across the water passin the other dogs! She sure can go!  ;D
