Has anyone given a dog beach to kill the parvovirus??? If so explain please...

For TREATING a dog for Parvo? No. I would say that that is not a possibility.

back in the 1980's and 90's I used to hear about so many parts of bleach to water and force feeding that mixture to pups and it would cure them of the Parvo or Corona...but I never tried it and never got the recipe because it just didn't make sense to me...

a old dog man tells me that he gives 1/2cc orally and that it will work.  but i know from experience tamiflu works mix 1 capsule tamiflu with 10cc water or pedialite give 1cc every 12 hours it has worked for me after 3rd dose the dog should be up doing better

My TX pup came down with Parvo just a few days after I got her back home. I caught it early and thanks to a well educated vet that happens to be a friend as well, she pulled through. While I was there we were talking about the Parvo virus...I got some insight into this stuff from him. While we've most all thought that dehydration was one of the main reasons pups die from this, apparently that isn't always the case. It seems that the Parvo virus knocks a pups immune system into the dirt,.....since they're small in body size it all but kills their immune system in a few hours and then the real culprit can take hold.....which is E coli....yep, that's what kills your pup. It gets out of the intestine and into the bloodstream and it's all over. E coli is nothing to trifle with even in a full grown adult human,....so you can imagine what it does to a 15 lb. pup.

Also I learned that the Parvo virus is very hardy and can live outside a host for months or even longer. It encapsulates and can survive for a long time. I've heard all the stories of saving a pup from Parvo with everything you can think of,....but they way I look at it, if a pup is worth keeping, then the best cure for Parvo is a good vet....just my opinion.....but this guy has saved 2 for me over the years and I have the utmost faith in him.

I've been to Veterinary seminars and they stated that the virus can survive in an enviornment for up to 8 years. Insane. That's why it's important to sanitize the enviornment as well after an infected animal is present.

Just got my ole ladies lab back from the vet about 2 weeks ago and after a week at the vet and $828.00 later he's back to normal. Vet said we were lucky and caught it early. Also said that the parvo eats away at there intestines pretty much deterates them and that we should spray yard, house, porch ect. ect. down with bleach but never heard of giving it to a dog or pup.

the 7 way plus coronavirus vaccine is a must...some call it the 8 way...I have never had a pup come down with corona nor parvo using the right vaccine...

I remember back in the early 1980's when the parvovirus first hit that just taking a pup to the vet for the vaccines was enough for the pup to catch the virus... just from taking the pup to the vet because everyone was taking pups to the vet and they claim it can go airborne...
