It would be hard for me to say.....I got rid of the factory ones pretty soon after I bought them....but I'd say at least a 1/4 of a mile. Used them yesterday on cowdogs and didn't lose them till 1.2 miles. From then on till about 1.7 miles I just had to hold the handheld up in the air. Old factory antennas would start cutting out at .8 miles and hardly ever pick up over 1.1 miles. I thought it was a great investment.
