All my dogs got killed about two weeks ago. I have one good little smaller frame mt cut gyp. 4 yr old. My main strike will honor other dogs bay. Let me know if you don't mind.

You don't have 400 acres behind your house, it's city land plus the hog with no nuts you got on I turned out.  Your brother called me about it. Just make sure you stay clear of what I'm hunting!   ;)

He has permission to hunt that? And no the land on the lake is public. We live on 300 + acres - the 50 or so acres that the city hasn't fenced off?

For y'all that are confused. My brother Kenneth Foster has permission on our neighbors place by the man that leases the land out for cows. Also my uncle has permission for us to hunt by the land owners. Now I'm guessing this is Brian Helm who is saying that's the land I LIVE on is all "city"? However there is 50 acres on a lake shore that we live next to that buts up to our property that is city or public land whatever you want to call it. But the city has never fenced this off.

50 acres ain't very big whether it's fenced off or not.

How much land do you have access to hunt?

I live on 360 +- that is mine. I don't remember the exact amount. Now the land next to mine is not fenced off. Which is public land.

Yes I did. I meant dogs that I hunt with. I should've said all my " finished. "  Frank. There arnt really any pigs out here right now. Helm asked where all this happened I said on my 400 acres and a neighbors 1,000. Because dogs were killed in different locations. The original post was to just see if anyone wouldn't mind me coming along with my one "finished" dog. I'm sorry for creating confusion. Helm I'm not trying to argue with you. There is 400 acres of public land but that is not the 400 acres I live on. I can see where confusion between us happened. The lake front doesn't belong to us and there's a box of 400 acres that is lake front.

Would that be like type 2 land? I've deer hunted in Decature on type 2 and we saw  there.pigs

I spoke with your older brother last night, we are all straight!  I know land acre all around you cause i was hunting it before you were born..  Ya'll can tag along with me anytime like i told your brother but what i was saying it you don't make friends by backdooring anyone!  Keep an eye out fro what i hunt since ya'l live sooo close to it is all I'm saying crap your within walking distants so what would you think..  Ive had pigs there for 15 years and for the last year there isn't any and I'm still putting them in there.   :-\

There is city land by his house also which he can hunt..  I have allot around his house also.  The city land you should have a permit and insurance to hunt which i have but i don't need that place as long as they stay there!  ;)  Guys don't try and stir me anymore, i havent taken my blood pressure meds today!  ;)  Everything is good..  They can hunt the city place cause it borders some of there small places..

NO!!  He is suppose to eat it, like every barr hunter does!   :o 

If you don't see my point, then why respond...  I'm sure most can see what I'm getting at!!  In a very nice way I'm saying DON'T HUNT MY LAND FOR PEOPLE THAT DON'T GET WHAT I'M POSTING!!!  Now that I've made it clear we should be on the same page!   ;)

My mistake

I'm not tryin to back door anyone. Simply just trying to keep my dogs in the woods while my pups grow. I've only hunted the lanes a hand full of times and we've only caught 2 boar. Also bud wants all the pigs off there for his cattle, just saying. Now I forgot who had traps out there but shumpert said that there have been some people setting traps around here and there and one guy supposedly caught 80 head off of one of buds leases.

If they're marked barrs, they should be turned back loose if the mark isn't yours  ;)

This has turned to an argument page hahah. I'm not even hunting right now helm neither is my brother he's all caught up in ranch rodeos and team roping. I haven't hunted in three weeks. I usually only hit a spot once every two months if not less. I'm not trying to create a fuss over a few acres of shoreline on Elmo. You have access to lots of land and this isn't my only spot either. Glad we understand eachother now.

Also just had to say that was a good boar you and Wynne got last month. Did y'all place in the tournament??

It's no one but mine around here!  ;)  Just started about a year ago cutting them so i could have some sausage!  lol

  So you cut boars then dropped them off on this place ? That is a lot of work to have someone kill them 

It's allot of work Ive put into this sport for a long time and lately its been abused by the up and comers!  Oh well, i will continue to do it so we will keep the sport around.  Even before barring hogs (which i just started) i turned them back all the time unless the market was up. 

I'm cutting mine for the sport though as well as my clients.  Like Big E said, I'm cutting there high gear out!   ;)

Like I said I've only been on one of your Barrs. So I don't know why your acussing me of chasing your pig off? If you don't want me to catch one of your pigs every once in a while then don't release them where they can be run onto my property and caught by me. Drove up on a big heard in my pasture the other day. I know you have lots of land to hunt. So if your catching pigs by my land or my spots then I can't tell my dogs to get on some pigs but not the ones that have a cut in their ear.

OH MY LORD!!!  Listen, i dont give 2 SH&&S if you catch my pigs!!  I don't care what you do on YOUR land!  I'm saying don't hunt mine!  If your not then don't respond!  Also, you didn't catch any of mine, that i know of!  ;)  the barr your brother got on whoop ass and didn't taken any names!  Hopefully ya'll scared him back to me!  I do have plenty to hunt and the one place by ya'll is where ive been doing guided hunts for years which is just a few times a year so i don't even hunt there much so the pigs should be there stacked like they have for the past 15 years but for some reason there not.  Good luck catching those barrs next time, hoepfully they will take it easier on your dogs next time. 

Well fellas I hate to tell y'all this. I haven't personally hunted around elmo lake but I do know a cpl of guys who do. As far as I know they have permission to do so and will continue to catch all the hogs they can in that area.I realy don't care much for the fella that's why I haven't hunted that area but he does catch hogs.

There is plenty to hunt around Elmo Lake..  THis is a little place 500 acres and i assure no one has permission on this but me!  It's all landlocked by open field so no one really butts up to me.  Perfect to keep my hogs really kinda close unless you hunt in there.  I know they stray out some at night but for the most part as long as you don't pressure it hogs will stay for many years!  Chris is one of the boys named Shelby?

I dnt knw who he all hunts with brian just that he hunts that area. For all I know he could be outlaw doggen it. Seems more. Common now that guys are hunting area where they only claim to have permission

Well, i don't hunt that way and never have!  I'l get to the bottom of it before too long!  I got eyes in the skys!  :)  It just sucks when you have allot invested time and money into this sport for someone else to F*** it up! You ask anyone thats hunted with me for years Ive always been able to take anyone and show them pigs and right now i don't know where the hell to go and it's not do to pressure from me!   >:(

I hear you. Last week me and a 2 of my cousins were gonna hit a spot down here.called the land owner to let them know we was gonna turn out. They asked to wait atleast week because another group that hunts the place had done went and stole stands and crap from the place. We was assured they knew it wasn't us but wanted to wait and catch the others. And I can't stand a wanna be man that will back door you! You know me, that time I could have hunted the hunt ranch your name was brought so I called you and never went out there. That's just how I am.

Just text me or call me. It'll be a while though I already have a hunt with someone else in a couple weeks. I have another spot that we can hit up. Like I said I just wanna keep my dog in the woods. I have a few spots and if I get invited to any other places I DON'T back door.
