Title: stacie has passed Post by: jdt on April 21, 2013, 09:11:50 am My name is Brianna Davis. I am a friend of John David, Stacie, and the kids. John David asked me to let y'all know that Stacie passed away Saturday morning around 2:50 A.M. The kids and John David are all holding up great because they know she is in a better place. Cole rode his first bull yesterday at a rodeo in Martin, TN. He covered and won first place in bull riding. He said he did it for his mamma. He knows she is proud and we are all very proud of him too. Adam hit two balls to the outfield yesterday at his T-ball game. We are all doing fine. He just wanted to let y'all know that she had gone home, and that they are managing fine.
Stacie's visitation will be held on Monday, April 22nd, at Sulphur Well Church of Christ in Paris, TN from 4-8 P.M. Her funeral will be Tuesday, April 23rd, at 11 A.M. at Sulphur Well. Title: Re: stacie has passed Post by: Shotgun wg on April 21, 2013, 09:23:29 am Prayers for the family.

Stacie was always so positive about her illness and her path to a cure. More than that, she was absolutely dedicated to her Lord and Savior. She was a rock for her young family, and she was an inspiration to all who met her. Stacie was a model of strength, courage, and the ability to look into the face of darkness knowing that her Lord would show her the light. Stacie wastelling me about her continued fight just last week, and she was as confident as ever.
When I learned of Stacie's passing, I didn't for one moment think that she had lost her battle with cancer. In my heart of hearts, I know that Stacie beat her cancer at it's own game. Cancer tried to bring Stacie down, but her Lord gave her wings. It is hard for us who loved her to accept that we can't talk to her anymore, that we can't gush over the latest styles of western boots, or giggle and laugh at each other's photos of crazy vehicles we see driving down the roads. That said, I know that for the first time in a long time Stacie isn't having to fight. She isn't smiling her way through pain and sickness. I have no doubt that Stacie has finally met her Lord and was so excited to meet Him. For all we loved Stacie down here, He loved her more and she has taken her place at His side. What a great lady.
