Title: Last Few Boar Hogs Post by: t.wilbanks on April 21, 2013, 09:05:45 pm Been pretty slow the last few weeks, but the hogs we did manage to catch have put a whooping on us...
Hunted a few weeks back in Buffalo with my cousin and manger one little boar hog... Nothing special... Sale Barn Bretts dog bayed him and while we were hobbling him, he kicked me square in the jaw and knocked me loopy for a little bit... I've taken a few shots to the face by hogs, but that dude had some force behind his!!! Sent the bulldogs and after seeing the hole he was in and the condition of a few dogs we stuck him... Got him winched out and weighed him at 241 pounds... All the dogs will be fine, and hopefully that boar put some back up into one of the young dogs I had out there...
