Title: Ticks? What can I do?

last year I used the bayer advance tree and shrub stuff. but this year it dont seem to be working. Whats the best thing you guys use? I know this been talked about many time. but I got tick problems. I got 10 dogs so I dont want to break the bank.  Thanks

put couple handfulls of seven dust in the dog houses. works for me.

    yes it helps  , just like  fleas and lice and all blood sucking parasites when they feed they die  .  I posted some studies done on it in india and England on another site last year .  but the doses where larger than our worming dose to get any good results .  but I don't have a problem with them in the yard or kennel buy keeping the grass cut short and spraying  [ religiously  ] with permethrin 10% and martins I. g. regulator . ticks love belly high grass to climb up on and hitch a ride on a host  . spectrocide with the hose end bottle applied first is a good step then keep the permethrin on a bi-weekly scedual  with the martins and you should be good to go .  dip dogs , or spray permethrin on them as well regularly .    cheapest  AND MOST EFFECTIVE  program I have found all summer don't cost me more than 50 to 60 dollars  .   and that covers a bunch of ground and dogs  .
