I want to know witch way I should go for a long range dog that I can just drop and wait .

That is an individual dog question not a breed , both have those type of dogs just gotta find the one u like

X 2 swamphunter but hounds tend to range more I got plot in some of my curs can't tell if it made them any more range than cur but I would lean more to a hound. Just remember that curs hunt with you you hunt with hounds good luck

Be sure your ready for a long range dog. Gotta have a lottt of land to hunt a true long range dog.

Probably some kind of hound but really it just depends on the dog. Some dogs do some don't.
