Title: Question on snake bit pregnant gyp Post by: Rooster79 on June 04, 2013, 12:56:55 pm A copperhead crawled into my pens and bit my gyp couple times before she killed it. I found her swelled up that morning and put Benadryl in her and she is good now. She's about 2 months bred and its bothering me that the venom could affect her unborn pups. Do any of y'all know if this could be a problem? Thanks

Took the pups to vet and and asked if it would have any affect on the moms milk and gave pups antibiotics. They were only 2 weeks old but they were fine just had some good scars when they got older
