Title: 7-22-09 Lampasas Morning Hunt - 8 Hogs (Pic Heavy) Post by: Bump on July 22, 2009, 04:53:19 pm Invited Richard (got2catchem) and his hunting partner JD down for a hunt on one of my honey holes. Showed him some new country and my style of hunting...."stick and move" :D
We kicked the dogs out just as day broke and finished with 8 hogs by 10:00 am....nothing with size but lots of action. Richard has some excellent dogs and they continued to roll out on hogs until the heat wore us out. The dogs did a lot of hunting and we covered lots of country. Garmin said we traveled 42 miles...not sure how many the dogs covered but it was a lot. Good job and pretty country, it would break my heart to kill that many in one day ;D MG I know...but this place is 14,000 acres and I promise I dont put a dent in them. They flew this place with a helicopter in April and the next day I caught 7 in a 1000 acre pasture.
