Title: caught a nice boar hog at lake sweetwater last night Post by: hookem54 on July 24, 2009, 09:12:57 am My buddy jessie had some friends from out of town that had never been hog dogging befor so yesterday we got off early and went out, it was 68 degrees almost all day and at the first place we went jr struck a nice boar about 225#, the only pics of that one are on my phone but i will see what i can do, then as we were going to another spot a lady called us from her land at lake sweetwater and told us since the rain the hogs had tore the place up so we headed out it took about five minutes and we were on a big bay it split and when we topped the hill we could see a huge boar headed out across a grain feild the dogs headed off in a different direction, but junior hit the track of the big boar and we had a split bay so i took two guys with me and we went after tiger and jessie took two guys and they went with junior, we got to tiger, buck,bebo, and blue and turned big joe loose and ended up catching 4 smaller hogs out of that group before we could catch all the dogs, by the time we got to jessie and the other two they had followed jr for a little over two miles on foot but jr ended up stopping the hog and this was the result these are two of the guys that had never been before and they did a great job of helping jessie
