Title: Texashog dogs
Post by: Cajun on June 19, 2013, 06:29:29 pm
One of your previous posts you had mentioned the killer type pit that ends fights quickly. Back in the old days did the old breeders strive for gameness or for the hard biting pit that ends most battles quickly. Reading some of the old books, it mentions both. Just something I was wondering.
I have had bulldogs all my life but not the game bred pits. We did breed ours a little bigger & strictly ear dogs & for temperament. They would be considered pretty cold by ya'lls standards.

You need both. A dead game dog with no bite is gonna get picked up.
