Sounds like she had Pyometra?

Is she still on pain meds from being post surgery? If so, that could be upsetting her stomach. You can try giving her 10mg Famotadine (found in any drug store) thirty minutes before offering her food. Try pouring chicken broth over her kibble....see if that entices her...

All those antibiotics may have killed off all the good bacteria in her stomach. Mix this up and get as much down every day for a few days, half cup butter milk, quarter cup plain yogurt, quarter cup karo syrup and one raw egg. I got Big Ben to try it on a dog that quit eating and two days is all it took. Just make sure she dosen't still have an infection and give her what ever she will eat. Canned dog food haas allways worked well for me.

Dang. Have u tried a B12 shot to boost her appetite. Other than that all I know to do is big syringe and a tube down her throught into her gut and force feed her.

Think she might have parvovirus? Or just stress.

Yogurt is good, as well as ProBios which you can buy in the tube from any feed store.
The Famotadine is good because it settles their stomach, usually making them want to eat....
Is she hydrated?

IF you don't mind driving back up to your vet, you can ask them for a few cans of A/D. It's made by Science Diet. It's a very moist and very stinky canned food that we typically use for sick dogs that won't eat, that we have to force feed. It's PACKED with nutrients, and for some reason, the dogs ALWAYS seem to devour it, no matter how long they've been off feed. It's most definitely worth a shot, and it may very well get her back on track!

The probios is very good for this. I have a good friend that is one of the top Greyhound men in the world. When they get a greyhound that won't eat, they use jack mackerel. Just the cheap stuff from the grocery store. I did a loading dose of sorts on my dog. I gave two clicks on the dial everyday for 4 or 5 days then 1 click daily. I still feed probiotics but it's a powder. It's cheaper that way. Good luck.
