Title: Re: First snow Post by: WayOutWest on October 20, 2013, 10:40:41 pm I grew up in Stanley and yes the winters used to keep the riff raff out but this oil boom has sure attracted them. If you ever go south of Stanley on 8 stop and say hi to my niece at the Belden Stop. I like the winters here in Washington better. Although the best part of my winter is the month in Texas.
