i haven't used it but my buddy did.  he didnt care for it much. he said his dogs just didnt do as good on it.

HOW MUCH DO YOU PAY A BAG?

Man Ive tried and tried but bottom line is u get what we pay for.I'm feeding Pro plan performance again and mainly cause of Dogos and skin problems.I've fed everything seen posted and with this less terds and great coat and skin.Pups also come out super shiny!Its about 35-40 per 50lb bag.Expensive but worth it in my book.Just my penny.

Dang I apologize and yes fed it and it blows literally right out the back end!Exclusive is ok sold at sams and is their premium line.

NO NEED TO APOLOGIZE MAN.  IF SOMEONE WOULD HAVE READ YALLS POST IT WOULD HAVE STARTED TO A WHAT FOOD IS BETTER TYPE THING JUST WANTED TO STOP IT BEFORE IT BEGAN. AND I WOULDN'T HAVE GOT MY QUESTIONS ANSWERED.

I've used it in the past and my dogs did well on it. I have no complaints.

I think it sucks , it did nothing for my dogs

I know a few people that feed Red Flannel and they swear by it... their dogs look real good.

I have a neighbor that feeds it and he has bird dogs, buys a ton a month and gets it around $20.00 a bag.

i tried red flannel. the dogs just ate a lot more and crapped alot more. seemed to make the dogs put on fat, not muscle. i went back to diamond extreme athlete and d. hi energy. with diamond the dogs will have the number 2s for a while until they get used to it.

i pay 25 or so a bag, ive tried other feed but ive always ended up going back to the exclusive

I use RED FLANNEL  and dont have a problem with it, i use the active blend. I could not keep weight on my red dogs with any other brand........tried them all and the RED FANNEL has done good by me. My catahoulas on the other hand can eat rocks and gain weight.
I pay $33 a bag here where I am with the 7th one free that brings it down to about $28.

No complaints from me on it, have used it 2 yrs now.

good food i feed the prime and every one i know that hunts down here feeds it ive tride alot of different foods and that seems to be the best ive found

wife was paying 14 in stephenville at coopers i get hamlin dog food now though at  same price its26 18

thanks to all I bought one bag of the Hi-protein and 1 of the puppy. Ill try the hi protein first then maybe jump around and find one if I dont like it.

    What prompted you to look for a change in your feed? What feed are you changing from?    I know Clay feeds red flannel and he is pleased with it. 

dang tanner your wife is getting a heck of a price break.  I just switched to the country value and love it and the dogs do to.  Getting it at taylors.  seems like their number 2s have droped by half.  am only about two weeks in to this bag but well liked so far

I believe it is the same as PMI and I used the torquise bag and had no problems other than a lot more waste than I get with extreme dog fuel. I also think yellow ground corn is the second ingredient and I prefer for it to be 4th ingredient or less.

I use it and my dogs seem to like it.  I used to use higher dollar stuff until I read the ingredients.  When the number one ingredient in most high dollar food is CORN, there is something wrong.  I had better luck with the lamb and rice  Ole Roy food from Walmart than I did with stuff like Science Diet.  I always make sure that when I buy dog food, that the first ingredient is some kind of meat.  By law they have to post whatever ingredient makes up the majority of the food, first.  So if your bag says Corn first, thats what you are feeding, and corn has NO nutritional value, it is just a filler.

I always look at the ingredients.

  i feed that red flannel  a couple years ago  it went through my catahoulas so fast it didnt even get thier pantie hose wet

I feed my dogs 24/20 Star Pro. I believe the fat content is more important than the protein. Its kinda like us eating a big steak, do you feel like doing anything afterwards. I know I don't.
I won't feed anykind of dog food that has corn as the first ingredient on the sack. JMO

i feed the select in the brown sack and the blue which is the prime my dogs look great i have 17 bird dogs and 8 catahoulas have had no troubles if you change feeds they will get the squirts for a couple days then it just hardens back i think the price is 14 for the select and 23 for the prime

i dont remember what type i tried   its was in a red bag i got it at  farmers feed and seed in belton texas i started by mixing it anding a 1/4  to total amount fed every other day  and fed it for  about a month  i looked at the web site and the  feed values and mxes it should be some good feed

 how much do you pay  for it if you buy it by the ton ,,
 
   im feeding 10 dogs 6 months and up,,,,,,, and 16 puppies ,,, around  50 chickens 175 chicks 10 guineas 2 turkeys 1 duck and 30 someodd eggs in the incubatorand two ferel pigs and everybody gets into the dog food from time to time  rolleyes rolleyes

 every cent i can save on  feed helps so look into any and all feed options

Before I began feeding RAW diet to my dogs I fed RED FLANNEL....The Blue bag (High Performance blend)

Got the "Buy 6 get one free" deal......I fed Black Gold before that and noticed no difference.  Our Police K9 eats the same blue bag red flannel and our K9 handler loves it...VERY active high energy dog.  If I was forced to feed kibble again I'd go back to blue bag red flannel

NoSights, by what you posted on the red flannel the fat looks really low on it 12%. The exclusive that i am feeding has 30% fat which is what really counts.

The blue bag high performance has 18% fat if I remember right.......

I feed Red Flannel High pro to all dogs over 1 yr and they do great on it & pay 21 per bag w/ 6th bag free.       feed Exclusive to puppys & i'm happy w/ it   & same 6th bag is free

o dont think for a minute  those dogs  dont get eggs and raw chicken,,,
  the incubator chicks are just for that  they are rhode island reds x white leghorn

  we keep the pullets and  we all eat the roosters i gound up a mix of dog food 1 part to 3 parts of ground steamed oats 1/2 part bone meal and 1/2 part beef tallow the last 2 weeks,,, fattens then young rooster nicely

fat = energy
