Title: Dog is coughing...any ideas? Post by: Justified on November 27, 2013, 12:24:24 pm Well I spent the cold weekend up in mason hunting and now my mac dog has a cough. He will bark then cough. I know it's not heart worms. Any ideas? He is eating normal, and still acts normal other then the cough. Any ideas/input woul be greatly appreciated.

But there is still a slight cough occasionally. I will keep up antibiotics. Seems to be the only treatment for whatever it is. There are a lot of turkeys on the place, I have cedar shaving in his house. I changed it out this morning and sprayed everything with stall cleaner(bleach and water) I've never felt with kennel cough before.
